Alternative Dispute Resolution

Resolving Disputes Easily and Efficiently

What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) offers consumers the possibility to turn to official entities for assistance in resolving or guiding disputes related to consumption, without the need to initiate court proceedings.

In general, the procedure works as follows: the consumer requests the intervention of an impartial third party who acts as a mediator between the consumer and the business. This mediator can suggest a solution, impose a binding decision, or bring both parties together to reach an agreement. ADR is typically faster, less formal, and less costly than traditional judicial proceedings, making it an efficient and accessible option for conflict resolution.
